WIP processing times are according to the active WIP. There are some circumstances that can affect turnaround times, but a common one is when a Web Property Owner fails to submit the necessary content that is needed to complete a WWO in a timely manner.
When handling an active WWO that requires updates to a Web Property, a report will be sent with details of the work performed along with the weblinks to the updated webpage. A response is required within 3 days to either approve the modified webpage or request a correction. If a response is not received within the allotted time, the WWO will be deemed "complete" and an email will be sent to notify the Web Property Owner that the WWO is closed. How does WIP calculate processing times? Each WIP includes the processing times allowed for its corresponding plan-also referred to as cycle times. These set times can be found on webpages containing WIP information on our WIP Web Property.
-Please be aware that our processing times are designed to give the WIP Specialist enough time to complete each WIC in an effective and timely manner. Depending on the work flow at the time of your submission, the request may be completed before the deadline.
WIP Specialists guarantee to complete your WIC request by the time specified in your WIP. There are exceptions to this rule because of circumstances that may hinder or stop the process. ✓WPO responds late on an open ticket. ✓ WPO does not submit all content needed to complete the WIC request. ✓ The WPO rejects an edit right before the expiration date of the ticket. ✓ The maintenance work being requested is not covered under the current WIP.
