Submitting Content for Posting/Updating

Web Insurance Plans cover the time spent performing warranty work to correct bugs, spelling errors, perform minor cosmetic/text corrections or changes that may have resulted from errors overlooked by You, the Web Property Owner and/or GriotSites. It also covers old errors that were not caught during the initial Web Property developing period regardless of who may be responsible of making them. Older errors can be corrected depending on the active WIP or by using Griotcoins.

Submitting content to WIPS for posting/updating is called "submitting a WIC", or "Web Insurance Claims". Submitting a WIC initiates the process of getting your Web Property updated. When WIPS receives a WIC submission from a WPO (Web Property Owner), a WWO or "Web Work Order" is created and added to a "task list" to be processed according to the demands of the active WIP and in the order in which it was received.

The content submitted for site updating shall be authored by the WPO and submitted to WIPS in its FINAL format using the uploader on this webpage, our ticket system, or via a primary email address. If the information and text submitted is not in its final format and contains spelling, grammatical, syntax errors, etc., WIPS may charge the Client $35 an hour (minimum 1 hour) or 1 Griotcoin for additional time needed to correct the errors that should have been corrected before submission.

Time Stamp for Each Post Request

When a posting request (WIC) is submitted via our ticket system, a WIPS will respond within 24 hours of receiving your WIC request unless it is an Emergency WIC. When a WIC is received in our system, an internal time stamp is applied to each entry to help us keep track of WICs and the time frame allowed per WIP to process the request. Because there are several ways to submit a WIC, each method is explained in details below:

Time-stamp via Primary Email or Support Ticket System

When a posting request (WIC) is submitted to WIPS via email or support ticket, you will receive an email response or web receipt letting you know that it was received successfully within 24 hours of receiving your updating request. This first web receipt doesn't mean that the email was physically read; it only means that the email was received and stored on our system. A second email will be sent to you letting you know that your email was physically viewed by a WIP Specialist or WIPS. The second web receipt reads something like,

"Hi (Client's Name), this is a web receipt that your Web Property information was received and viewed on 3/14/2017 @ 9:55 AM for Web Address https://yourprimaryemailaddress.com."

All WICs received via email will be replied to via email. We recommend using the support ticket method because it is faster than conventional email methods.

Turnaround times depend on the times specified in each WIP.

Please understand that our services are in high demand (YIPPEE!) forcing us to run a strict working schedule. We are constantly updating Web Properties for the many business owners we have in our Clientèle. Any submissions that need posting BEFORE the processing time specified in your active WIP will fall under our Emergency Plan at a rate of $35 per hour (minimum 1 hour) or 1 Griotcoin.

*All post submissions under the Web Property Insurance Plan will be performed on Monday Tuesdays ONLY.

The rest of the week will be utilized to focus on developing new site properties and troubleshooting existing ones. We really pride ourselves on providing undivided attention to each Client's Web Property. For this reason it is very important to follow the posting schedule closely to assure that postings are completed on time.
(Some WIPs include Emergency Services. Compare WIPS to find the plan that offers emergency services).

*All post submissions must be received in the WIPS office via email or ticket system no later than closing time on Monday at 8 pm mst.

For instance, if you have content that needs posting to your Web Property and you submit it on Sunday, January 8th, updating will be completed on or by Monday, January 15th.

Remember, Any requests outside of the schedule will be considered "emergency" services and a $35 per hour fee will apply (minimum 1 hour) or 1 Griotcoin.

WIPS may make recommendations about the content of the submitted content, however, the Client shall make the final decision and approve the content of the webpages.

Editing Rounds Per Post Submission

WIPS constitute changes to the current Web Property and its existing webpages using the current Web Property theme. Each posting submission is allowed only 1 edit round. This means that the Client is allowed only 1 correction to be made AFTER we post the initial submission for review. It is important to make sure that the correct information is submitted to us the first time so that we don't waste time correcting errors submitted to us. We will no longer be responsible for the content that is submitted to us with incorrect information, and a $35 per hour (1 Griotcoin) charge will be added if a second or more edit is needed on the same post. Some Web Insurance plans may include more than one revision.

Example: If you submit a WIC that contains dates and there is an error found during the "approval" process, just submit the correction request with the correct information and WIPS will make the correction. Once the correction is made and after receiving the final "Your Web Property is Updated"  message, any errors you find AFTER receiving the "final update" message that is NOT the fault of WIPS will be considered an "emergency edit" and a charge of $35 per hour will be applied to the Client's account (minimum 1 hour). Please note that we will not make any charges to your account until you approve the charges.
