Editing rounds can get out of hand sometimes which can often slow down the updating/posting/creating process. They can be a little pesky, especially when they seem to go on indefinitely. That is why this article was created to cover such a small but sometimes annoying issue when it comes to updating in a timely manner.
What do you mean by Edit Rounds? "Edit rounds" is when a WPO or "Web Property Owner" submits a WIC to update a Web Property. Due to those sometimes pesky little creatures we just discussed, we have to limit the number of edits that are received each month. There are two types of edits:
1. Direct Edits are edits or changes that WPOs submit to WIPS.
2. Edit Rounds are edits or changes that a WPO requests during an active WWO. These edit requests are made AFTER the completed work performed AND before the final approval of the work performed. So, exactly how many editing rounds do I get? The amount of edits or "revisions" allowed depends on the type of WIP you are enrolled in. Each WIP has an allotted amount of edits, so all we can really tell you with certainty is that all WIPs start out with at least 1 edit round.
