Welcome to our Web Insurance Plan Terms of Services Policy

This article covers the Terms and Conditions for users of GriotSites' Web Insurance Services.
***This service is only for those whose Web Property was developed by our GriotSites Web Development team.

One of the main keys to having a good Web Property is keeping it fresh! Visitors will return time and time again when they are accustomed to the information changing on a regular basis.

As part of our post-care for Web Property Owners, we offer affordable maintenance service plans that are just right for those who need to make updates/edits during the month.

What Is Web Insurance Plans?

Most Web Properties designed by GriotSites Web Developers will be built on a software system that requires html and php knowledge in order to make edits and updates. This basically means that although you have easy access to change a phone number, title, picture, or service description, you may not know how to change it due to coding. If you want to keep your Web Property updated and always current without worrying about finding someone to do the coding for you, we offer maintenance/insurance plans to fit any budget. We are also a licensed distributor for WYSIWYG Site Builder for WPOs who wish to perform their own updates. The WYSIWYG software we offer is compatible with our systems and can be used to maintain all sites developed by GriotSites.

Services Covered Under WIP

Each Web Insurance Plan or WIP has its own types of services that are created for that particular plan. To learn which services are covered under WIP, visit each plan: Basic, Comprehensive, and Full Coverage WIPs.

Submitting Content for Posting

Web Insurance Plans cover the time spent performing warranty work to correct bugs, spelling errors, perform minor cosmetic/text corrections or changes that may have resulted from errors overlooked by the Client and/or GriotSites. It DOES NOT cover old errors that were not caught during the initial Web Property Evaluation regardless of who may be responsible of making them.

All post submissions under the Web Property Insurance Plan MUST be submitted 7 days before being posted.

Any submissions that need posting BEFORE the 7 days will fall under our Emergency Plan at a rate of $35 per hour (minimum 1 Griotcoin).

*All post submissions under the Web Property Insurance Plan will be performed according to the registered WIP.

The majority of our time is utilized to focus on developing new site properties and troubleshooting existing ones. We really pride ourselves on providing undivided attention to each Client's Web Property. It is for this reason why it is important to follow the posting schedule completely to assure that postings are performed on time.

(This does not apply to Full Coverage WIP members. Emergency services are part of the Full Coverage Web Insurance Plan).

Remember, Any requests outside of the schedule will be considered "emergency" services and a $35 per hour fee will apply (minimum 1 hour).

Time Stamp for Each Post Request

When an edit request (WIC)  is submitted, the WPO will receive an email ticket response to acknowledge that your request was received successfully and is being processed by a WIP Team Specialist. This message (called a "web Receipt") will be sent out within 24 hours of receiving your Web Insurance Claim request and it reads something like,

"Hi (Client's Name), this is a receipt that your Web Property information was received and viewed on 3/14/2017 @ 9:55 AM for Web Address https://yourprimaryemailaddress.com."

Should any questions arise during processing, the WPO will be notified on the active/open ticket with details regarding the clarity needed.

GriotSites Web Hosting & Designs™ may make recommendations regarding the content of the web pages, however the Client shall make the final decision and approve the content of the web pages.

Editing Rounds Per Post Submission

GriotSites Web Hosting & Designs™ Web Property Insurance Plans constitute changes to the current Web Property and its existing web pages using the current Web Property theme. Each posting submission is allowed only the number of edit rounds included in the registered WIP. This means that the Client is allowed only corrections to be made AFTER we post the initial submission for review. It is important to make sure that the correct information is submitted to us the first time so that we don't waste time correcting errors submitted to us.

Web Specialists are NOT responsible for content that is submitted to us with incorrect information. Edit rounds that exceed the plan's allowable credits are subject to a additional fees that can be paid using Griotcoins, available credits, or a monetary payment of $35 per hour.

Note: If you submit a post that contains dates and there is an error found during the "approval" process, just submit the correction request and GriotSites will make the correction. Once the correction is made and after receiving the final "Your Web Property is Updated" message, any errors you find AFTER receiving the "finale update" message will be considered an "emergency edit" and a charge of $35 per hour will be applied to the Client's account (minimum 1 hour).

Things you should keep in mind

The WPO/Client understands, agrees and acknowledges that it takes approximately 7 business days to complete maintenance requests from the date of the WPO's web receipt unless WIP specifies a different completion time. View each WIP for actual processing times.

Once the work order is complete, the Web Property Owner has 3 business days to review and accept/reject the work performed. If response is not received within the allotted time frame, the work performed will be considered "approved" by default and no changes can be made to the closed ticket. Work orders received AFTER the "approval" can be resubmitted under a new ticket and will be processed if enough credits are available in the current WIP cycle.

Emergency Web Work Order requests can be submitted if a WPO needs the work performed sooner than the processing time indicated in the current WIP. There are times when our work load is low at which time we are able to perform work orders sooner than the allotted times. This is a hit-or-miss/ "standby" process, so if your work order has a definite date, it is best to submit it at least 14 days in advance (idea is 30 days) before the work order needs to be completed. For work orders that can't risk the chance of not being posted before the WIP's allotted processing time, the fee schedule is as follows:

3 Day Work Order is $35.00 per hour with 1 hour minimum request.
24 hours Work Order is $75.00 per hour with 1 hour minimum request.

WIP Accounts (WIPA) that are suspended due to non-payment cannot receive new maintenance submissions for any Web Properties associated with the suspended or terminated account.

Payment arrangements can be requested, and if approved, a fee will be added to the WIP balance to process the extension. View more details regarding services provided by GriotPay Credit Services™.
