What if I don't have anything to post in some months?

Our Web Insurance Plans (WIP)
are similar to having insurance for your house or car; it is in place when you need it. WIPPs or Web Insurance Plan Payments are prepaid monthly and will continue unless you decide to cancel. Even If you do not submit any updates for posting during your service month, other benefits are still being used such as daily or weekly visibility checks. Because WIP is a form of a "subscription" service, any included features or services not utilized during the active WIP period will reset the following active month. View your current WIP for details about the plan you are currently enrolled in. Unused monies or Griotcoins will not be refunded based on the fact that no post updates were submitted. Since freshly updated Web Properties are appealing to visitors and search engines, we recommend that you submit at least one posting request or WIC during your prepaid month.

When is the latest I can request a post update to my Web Property?

Each WIP determines the turnaround time to post/update your Web Property. If you are needing maintenance work performed on your site property, the best practice is to submit your WIC at least 7 business days before a post is needed to be made. Depending on our schedule, we may be able to update a Web Property sooner than the time specified in your WIP, but to be on the safe side (especially with time-sensitive updates), the "7-day business prior rule" will be your best route. If you need an update performed sooner than what is specified in your WIP, your WIC will be considered an Emergency WIC.

How soon will I see the requested changes to my Web Property?

We work for many businesses who need continuous updating and other maintenance work, and for that reason (among a few others) we run a strict time schedule. Each WIP has a specific amount of turnaround times. You may see the changes to your Web Property in as little as 72 hours from the date and time of your WIC submission, but to play it safe, always look at the maximum time that a WWO will be completed when planning your posting times.

What if I miss posting for one month while on the Web Insurance Plan?

During your service month, If you do not submit any updates for posting, you forfeit the benefits of the missed month. As stated above, unused monies will not be refunded based on the fact that no post updates were submitted by the Web Property Owner.

How do I cancel the Web Insurance Plan?

What if I have 2 or more Web Properties. Can I receive a discount for multiple properties?

The more the merrier!  If you are needing our services for 4 or more Web Properties, we will give you 10% off the total monthly premium (WIPP) for WIP accounts (WIPA) that contain 4 or more Web Properties. For instance; If you sign up 3 Web Properties on the "Basic Coverage" WIP for your Studio property ($35 month X 3), and the "Comprehensive Coverage" WIP for your House property ($69 month), instead of paying $174 per month for all 4, you will only pay $139.20 per month and so on so forth.

How do I submit updates to GriotSites for posting?

The ONLY 2 ways to submit Web Property update requests or WIC is via email or our support ticket system. Only the primary email address that we have on file is authorized to submit updates for posting to your Web Property. If a request is received from an unauthorized email address, the request will automatically be rejected.

How do I know if my Web Property has been updated?

After we have completed your Web Property updates, we will send you an email via your primary email address or the ticket support forum to let you know that changes have been made to your site property along with the details of the changes. If you do not receive a response within 72 hours, Contact WIPS.

Can others make submissions for Web Property updates if I am not available?

You can register another person to submit posting requests if they are added to your WIPA. A designated person can also submit WIC's from the primary email address. If we receive a request from an email that is not listed as an authorized contact, we will forward the request to you, the Web Property Owner instead of posting it. Let your Web Specialist know if you wish to add someone to your account as an authorized poster.

New Web Property Owners (WPO) are so excited to have a web presence that very little attention is given to Web Property maintenance. The main reason little attention is given is due to the fact that most WPOs do not know how to update their site property, so they just leave it (online property) to fend for itself on/in the scary World Wide Web. As part of our post-care program for WPOs, we offer Web Insurance Plans that include updating/posting to your Web Property.

This webpage contains detailed information about our maintenance updating services or WIP. A lot is different from the retired “Monitoring Services” plan, so we encourage you, better yet (BEG YOU) to review this webpage to familiarize yourself with our new Web Insurance Plans.

We've installed a ticket and knowledge base system to make it easier for WPOs  to send content for posting/updating to a registered Web Property. Maintenance requests or WIC must be received via our ticket system or via your primary email account. We recommend using the ticketing method for faster services.

You must have an account to gain access to our knowledge base and ticket functions. All GriotSites WPOs who enroll in a WIP will receive an invitation to create an account for access to the forum. If you are a WPO and you have not received an invitation, contact us so that we can check into it.

Updates can take 5 to 7 business days to complete from the date of the web receipt. Each WIP has specific turnaround times so check your current WIP for real turnaround times.

Once a WWO is completed, you have 3 business days to approve the changes. If approval is not received within the time-frame stated, the WWO will be considered “approved by default”.

Once an approval is received (WPO or default), changes cannot be made under the closed WWO. If a change is needed, you can use a Griotcoin and get it done.

Emergency updates are available at 1 Griotcoin per hour. Emergency updates include;
Needing work completed within 3 business days instead of the regular 7 business days.
